You may already be wondering what kind of weather to expect in Iceland in August. Have a look at the average weather conditions for Reykjavik and you will see the weather is not dissimilar to what we might expect in Scotland at the time of year. If we are lucky, the temperatures may be as warm as they were during my visit in August 2004 when Rekjavik broke its temperature record.
However, you are not going to Iceland for the weather and the scenery is so spectacular that the weather will have little effect on your appreciation of it.
